Inclusive FinTech Forum (IFF) 2023
IFSCA made a significant contribution to the Inclusive FinTech Forum (IFF) 2023 held in Kigali, Rwanda (June 20-22, 2023). In acknowledgement of its expertise, IFSCA was invited by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Elevandi to participate in a Roundtable discussion at IFF 2023. This participation allowed IFSCA to share insights and contribute to the global discourse on inclusive fintech.
MoU with IHub-Data, IIIT Hyderabad
On April 28, 2023, IFSCA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IHub-Data, IIIT Hyderabad. This MoU aims to establish a framework for cooperation and understanding between IFSCA and IHub-Data, IIIT Hyderabad. The collaboration between these entities focuses on supporting and facilitating fintech and techfin entities operating in niche deep-tech domains.
Partnership with GFIN for Greenwashing TechSprint
To address the risks of greenwashing in financial services, IFSCA partnered with the Global Financial Innovation Network (GFIN) for the Greenwashing TechSprint. Launched on June 05, 2023, this initiative aims to develop innovative tools and solutions that can effectively help regulators and the market combat greenwashing. The collaboration between IFSCA and GFIN underscores their commitment to promoting transparency and sustainability in the fintech sector.
PICUP Fintech Awards 2023
IFSCA associated with the PICUP Fintech Awards 2023, which were launched on May 04, 2023. The PICUP award winners, aligned with IFSCA’s focus areas as per Annexure 1 of the IFSCA FinTech Entity Framework and jurisdiction, were granted direct entry into IFSCA’s Regulatory/Innovation Sandbox. The winners gained access to various incentives and grants provided by IFSCA, ject to the terms and conditions set by the organization.
